Shortcut Low Fat Halibut - This simple, supreme recipe for Low Fat halibut, is first marinated in an Italian citrus marinade, and microwave cooked in less than 10 minutes! Moist, tender, and healthy, this low fat halibut recipe is awesome served with rice pilaf.

Ingredients to make Shortcut Low Fat Halibut
1 pound halibut steaks
1/3 cup light or fat free Italian dressing
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
parsley and lemon slices for garnish, optional
Directions to make Shortcut Low Fat Halibut
Place halibut steaks in a shallow microwave dish, placing thickest parts towards outside edges of dish. Combine remaining ingredients in a cup and pour over the halibut steaks. Cover dish with plastic wrap; refrigerate for 30 minutes, turning once to let marinade flavor both sides of halibut.
Turn back one corner of the plastic wrap to vent dish and microwave on HIGH power (100%) for 4 to 5 minutes. Rotate dish a quarter turn after 2 minutes. Let stand 3 minutes before serving. If desired, garnish halibut steaks with lemon slices and parsley.
